We had a wonderful time on our 2008 Freeform Fest Cruise in July with Prudence Mapstone!
Before the cruise, Virginia Bowen and her staff at Seattle Yarn hosted us for a demonstration by Prudence that drew a big crowd, thanks also to the efforts of Laurie Wheeler and Alison McCarthy of Crochet Liberation Front. Thanks for the wonderful reception and homemade goodies!
We visited shops in Ketchikan, Juneau & Scagway, then in Victoria, B.C. we were hosted by the
Beehive Woolshop, where Prudence gave an impromptu fashion show and demonstration to a large and enthusiastic audience.
Here’s a slideshow with some images of Seattle, Alaska, Victoria, with portraits of our participants, hosts and new friends met on our journey. Think about joining one of our exciting cruise tours – more than just a deck chair slalom!
